Hiram Carter Obituary

Mr. Hiram McKinley Carter JR., of Andalusia, passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2019, at his residence. He was 80.

Mr. Carter is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Jean Carter; two children, Samantha Stinson, and Daren McKinley Carter; four grandchildren, Aaron Carter, Brittany Carter, Zack Stinson, and Kayla Stinson; and one sister, Mary Jewel Carter. He is preceded in death by his parents, Hiram McKinley Carter SR. and Nobie Inez (Chisum) Carter.

Mr. Carter retired from South Alabama Regional Airport in 2000, after working numerous years as Aircraft Re-fueler. A memorial service for the family will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday, April 12, 2019, at Mount Pisgah Church in Andalusia.
