Henry David Walters

Mr. Henry David Walters, age 70, of Andalusia, passed away Thursday, March 8, 2018 at a Pensacola, FL hospital.   Originally from Mobile, David moved to Andalusia in 1980 and became a member of First Presbyterian Church of Andalusia. There, he was a member of the Seekers Sunday School class, the Christian Education Committee, and the Worship Committee.  David was a founding member of the Lower Alabama Arts Coalition, a not-for-profit arts organization in Andalusia, and also a member of the Covington Historical Society. 

David is survived by his two sisters, Deborah W. (Lee) Lucas and Donna W. (Raymond) Guterman; his nieces and nephews; and his dear friends, Steve and Harriet Hubbard.  David was preceded in death by his parents, Sanford G. and Eva T. Walters.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 Noon Saturday, March 24, 2018, at First Presbyterian Church in Andalusia with Rev. Robert Madsen officiating.  Keahey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
