Mrs. Evie Louise Smith Lucas, age 96, of McKenzie passed away on March 23, 2018.

She is survived by her son, Allen (Jan) Lucas; daughter-in-law, Elaine Lucas; brother, Paul (Judy) Smith; sister, Carly Lee; grandchildren, Lisa (John) Thomas, Shep (Christal) Lucas, Brandi (Jason) Peavy, Ashley (Nathan) Adams, Amy (Dougie) Hallford, Amanda Stewart, and Angie (Christopher) Borum; 14 Great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter; son, Dwight; daughter, Dorris; parents Mimmie and Linzy Smith; brothers Doug and W.C. Smith; and sister Opal Justice.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 26, 2018 at Bushfield Primitive Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Smith officiating. Keahey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
