Ella Sanders Obituary

Mrs. Ella Quay Sanders, age 91, of Elba, passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2018, at Mizell Memorial Hospital in Opp.

She is survived by her children, Peggy (Curtis) Pouncey of Elba, Wayne (Norma) Sanders of Elba, Becky Sanders of Samson and Donald (Nena) Sanders of Opp; 20 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, January 29, 2018, at Elba First Assembly of God Church with Rev. Dwight Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Elba. Asked to serve as pallbearers: Wesley Thompson, Shawn Sanders, Dillon Carnley, Clint Adkison, Eliandro Alex King, and Chris Brown. The family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 P.M. at Elba First Assembly of God Church just prior to the funeral service. Keahey Funeral Home of Andalusia is in charge of arrangements.
