Effie Russell Obituary

Mrs. Effie Mae Russell, of Andalusia, passed away Sunday, January 20, 2019, at her residence. She was 70.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 23, 2019, at the Keahey Funeral Home Chapel of Andalusia; with Rev. John Hunt officiating. Interment will follow in the Eden Baptist Church Cemetery in Babbie, AL. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 22, 2019, at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel of Andalusia. Keahey Funeral Home of Andalusia has been entrusted with arrangements.

Mrs. Russell is survived her son, Lamar Grissett of Andalusia; her grandchildren, Kimberlie (Author Brundidge) Grissett of Andalusia, Summer (Jeremey) Freeman of Evergreen; 5 great-grandchildren, Braxton Brundidge, Trinity Brundidge,Madison Freeman, Alivia Freeman, and Kaylee Freeman ; three sisters, Mary Joe Hester of Andalusia, Charleene Taylor of New Hope, and Dianne Grissett of Opp. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles Lamar Grissett and Mary Louise Grissett; her sister, Sarah McIntosh.
