Mr. Thomas Homer Carter of Andalusia passed away Tuesday May 2, 2017 at his residence. He was 79 years old.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, May 5 at Zion Hill Baptist Church.  Rev. Roger Lee will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Keahey Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Thursday at the Keahey Chapel and at the church one hour prior to services.

Mr. Carter is survived by his wife, Teresa Carter; sons, Steve (Tammy) Carter of Houston, TX, Randy (Mary) Carter of Houston, TX, Brian (Cheri) Carter of Houston TX; daughter, Wendy (Dean) Benefield of Houston, TX; brother, David Carter of Andalusia; step son, Justin (Kayla) Odom of Chipley, FL; stepdaughter, Brittany (Tommy) Boyette of Clarksville, TN; 12 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
