Mr. Roger J. Bowman, of Clio passed away Monday, May 22, 2017 at his residence. He was 70 years old.

Mr. Bowman retired from AAFES as a refrigerator mechanic after 28 years working. Fishing and hunting deer and bird were some of his favorite pastimes. He and his wife attended Faith Worship Church in Clio. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, May 25, 2017 at Faith Worship Church. Burial will follow with military honors in the Antioch Church Cemetery with Keahey Funeral Home of Clio directing. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services.

He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Sue Mann Bowman Clio; son, Wesley Bowman of Clio; daughters, Risha Bowman of Clio, Sirena Bowman of Headland; sisters, Maricka Carter of Eufaula, Marcia (Rev. Lawrence) Arnette of Opp; one grandchild, Amuro McKinnon of Headland; numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Bowman was preceded in death by his parents, Neal and Maudrene Bowman; brother in law, Billie Joe Carter.
