Peggy Senn Grissette of Brundidge, Alabama, age 74, went home to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ August 24, 2017.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Sunday, August 27, 2017, at Mt. Olive Assembly of God with Rev Ashley Faulk and Rev Shirley Ellis officiating.  She will lie in state one hour before the service.  Interment will follow at Mt Olive Assembly of God Cemetery.  The family will receive visitors from 5 P.M. until 7 P.M. Saturday, August 26, 2017, at Mt Olive Assembly of God.  Pallbearers are: Dustin Senn, Clint Senn, Tony Senn, Dempsey Senn, Hunter Wilson, and John Simmons III.

Peggy was born April 18, 1943, in Brundidge, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her parents Dempsey Monroe and Emma Lee Sawyer Senn; brothers:  Thomas Floyd, James Woodrow, Veron, Max, and Jack Senn; and her sister:  Gwendolyn Senn White.

Peggy was loved by all and will be dearly missed.  She was an active member of Mt Olive Assembly of God Church and the Women's Ministry.  She is survived by daughters Beverly Austin and Karen Grissette;  eight grandchildren:  Chris (Amy) Boswell, Tiffany (Glenn) Nelson, Blake Austin, Brandi (Michael) Stokes, April Beasley, Faith McLendon, Lindsey McLendon, and Randolph McLendon III; eight great grandchildren:  Hunter Boswell, Lydia Nelson, Eli Boswell, Liam Lindner, Brody and Skyler Austin, Pacey Beasley, and Malaki Singleton; her brother:  Tommy Woodrow (Joy) Senn; her sisters-in-law: Cumi, Janice, and Doris Senn; and several nieces, nephews, family members, and friends. A special son John Simmons and family.
