Ms. Mary Ella Carpenter of Troy went to be with her Lord on Thursday, January 11, 2018. She was 63.  A native of Clio, she was the daughter of the late Tal Carpenter Sr. and Fannie Danford Carpenter. She was an ordained minister and talented musician. She loved her children, grandchildren and little dogs.

She is survived by her sons, Christopher Roberts of Headland, Anthony Faircloth and George Faircloth both of Florida and ex-daughter-in-law, Wanda Barnhill of Jack that remained a close friend to Mary Ella. Brothers, Tal Carpenter, Jr. (Judy) of Montgomery; Harold Carpenter (Lisa) of Andalusia; and her grandchildren, Anthony Austin, Madison and Tori.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Keahey Funeral Home in Clio.  A niece, Kymberly Carpenter Keahey will give the eulogy. Cremation will follow.
