Leotis Garrett, age 85, went home to be with the Lord, on Monday, October 23, 2017. He was born November 1, 1931, in Castleberry, AL,  was an avid fisherman and hunter, and he served over 20 years in three different branches of the the U.S. Military over his time in service. 

Leotis is survived by his bride of 65 years, Esther Jane; his son Bobby, (Terry); his granddaughter, Jennifer (Scott) and their son Garrett; his grandson, Jayson (Sarah); and brothers, Willie C. and Clyde Garrett.  He was preceded in death by his son, William “Bill” Garrett, and brothers and sisters, George, James, Brooks, Betty and Louise.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Friday October 27, 2017, at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wayne Sharpe and Rev. Nathan Daniels officiating.  A graveside service will follow at 2:00 P.M. at London Baptist Church cemetery in Castleberry, AL.  Serving as pallbearers are:  James Jones, John Wallace, Claude Summerlin, Herman Castleberry, Bill Tillman, and Randall Holland.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Thursday, October 26, 2017, at Keahey Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donation can be made to the London Baptist Church Cemetery.
