Mr. Johnny Kirkland, age 75 of Andalusia passed away Saturday, April 15, 2017 at the Andalusia hospital after an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday at Keahey Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to services.  Rev. Bill Pritchet will officiate. 

Survivors include his wife, Bobbie Eady Kirkland of Andalusia; sons, Michael David Kirkland (Darlene) of Dothan; Johnny Ray Kirkland, Jr., of California;

Step children, Joseph McCraney (Chrystal) of Florida; Johnny Dewayne Stinson of Andalusia; Melinda Faye Stinson of Rose Hill; Sonya Deloney; sister, Mary Harrison of Andalusia; grandchildren, Elizabeth Stinson, Haley Stinson, Shirlyn Dobbs, Tony Ray Grimes.

Mr. Kirkland served during the Vietnam War and worked as a truck driver most of his life.  He and his wife are members of Southside Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Morgan and Adele Kirkland; brothers, Carl Kirkland, Jimmy Lee Kirkland, Morgan Kirkland Jr, Cleo Kirkland; sister, Betty Hurst.
