Mr. James Truman Fleming, age 71 of Elmore, Al passed away peacefully Tuesday, March 21, 2017.

Services for Mr. Fleming will be held at 2 pm Thursday, March 23, 2017 at Keahey Funeral Chapel. Rev. Brent Cook will be officiating. Burial will follow at the Kinston City Cemetery

The family will receive friends 2 hours prior to the service.

Left to cherish his memory; daughter, Christy (Dewayne) Doster of Kinston; sons, James (Mary) Whatley of Elba, Mark (Luette) Missildine of Defuniak Springs; stepsons, Mike (Cindy) Strickland of Opp, Manuel Strickland of Opp; step-daughters, Debbie (Jerry) Kilcrease of Andalusia, Donna (Shane) Carter of Andalusia; sisters, Eloise Hillard of Opp, Barbara Patrick of Elmore, Sue Henderson of Elmore; many grandchildren great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marlin “Hayrake” and Merle Fleming and step-daughter, Cindy Strickland.
