Mr. J.C. Scofield, age 72 of Florala passed away Sunday, January 15, 2017 in a Dothan hospital.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday (Jan. 17th) at Keahey Funeral Home (871 Al. Hwy. 55 Florala, AL) in Lockhart. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Wednesday, January 18th at the Keahey Chapel in Lockhart. Rev. Johnny White and Rev. John Hunt will officiate. Interment will follow in North Creek cemetery with Keahey Funeral Home of Lockhart directing.

He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Lorene Scofield of Florala; son, Michael Scofield of Florala; sisters, Katherine Kelly and Virginia Prichard, both of River Falls; grandchildren, Brittany (Nick) Lannard of Crestview, Florida; Christopher Scofield Cosby of Opp; 4 great grandchildren, Addison Lannard, Sindey Lannard, Hance Lannard, Grace Cosby.

Mr. Scofield was born March 26, 1944 to the late Edward Taylor Scofield and Mary Alice Spears Scofield. He was a member of Liberty Hill Assembly of God in Florala, Al.
