Donald Pruitte Moates

Mr. Donald Pruitte Moates, age 77, of Blue Springs, passed away Monday, January 22, 2018, at his residence.

Mr. Moates is survived by his wife of 53 years, Mauline Moates of Clio; his children:  Vince (Melisha) Moates of Blue Springs and Sonja (Ricky) Lucky of Skipperville; his five grandchildren, Justin Lucky, Brandon Lucky, Logan Moates, Kayla Moates and Josh Sauls; four great-grandchildren; his brothers, Bobby (Theresa) Moates of Ozark, Harold Moates of West Jefferson, NC, and Ted Moates of Enterprise; and his sisters, Lamaude Rhodes and Grace Roberts, both of Ozark, AL. 

Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M.  Wednesday, January 24, 2018, at Blue Spring Word of Truth Church Cemetery with Rev. Randy Adams and Rev. Danny Rieben officiating.  Asked to serve as pallbearers are Mickey Smith, Josh Sauls, Justin Lucky, Brandon Lucky, Logan Moates, and Ben Moates. 

The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 23, 2018, at Keahey Funeral Home of Clio.
