Bobby Knight of Ashford, Alabama, passed away November 21, 2017, surrounded by his family and friends. He was 61.  

From the years of 1992 to 2017, Bobby owned and operated Lacquer Plus Painting, Southern All Spray and was the current owner of Bobby Knight Painting.  He was a graduate of the 1974 class of Ashford Academy where he loved playing ball for the Falcons. He was involved in the Ashford Rec Department for many years serving as a baseball coach in many leagues.  Bobby was a member of the Ashford F & A Masonic Lodge #493.  

Survivors include his children, Chris (Tori) Knight of Dothan; Karla (Brent) Maddox of Prattville; Misty (Clint) Brantley of Soperton, Georgia; his step-children:  Tambria McCardle, Justin Harrell and Tyler Harrell; special friend, Carol Enfinger; grandchildren, Montana, Jakob, Brayden, Cambell-Lynn, Logan, Rylan, Elizabeth, Blaise, and Jenna.  He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Knight, Sr., his mother, Mary Knight, infant daughter, Heather, and his brother, Danny.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, November 25, 2017, at Wayside Baptist Church in Ashford.

Bro. David Baker will officiate. Interment will follow in Ashford City Cemetery with Keahey Funeral Home of Clio entrusted with services. Serving as pallbearers will be Brent Maddox, Vince Vickory, Don Allen Knight, Clint Brantley, Timmy Draughon, Charles Decker, Chris Knight and Randy Knight.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m., Friday, Nov. 24th at Wayside Baptist Church.
