Mrs. Joyce Bozeman Bates, age 76 of Red Level passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at her residence.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Thursday, February 21, 2013 at Pigeon Creek Baptist Church. Rev. Brent Cook will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Keahey Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 12 noon Thursday at the church until time of services.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions maybe made to the Pigeon Creek Baptist Church cemetery fund, c/o Audrey Bates.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Rusty & Enina Bates of Phenix City
Daughter, Dawn & Tim Brawner of Dothan
Hope & Terry Ballew of Red Level
Four grandchildren, Geoffrey (Chrissy) Bates, Haleigh (Chuck) Golden, Ashton Brawner, Hayden Brawner, Tara (Zack) Butts
6 great grandchildren, Taylor & Caleb Bates, Caroline, Georgia and Coleman Golden, Brawner Dempsey
I am very sorry for the death of your dear loved one. Although the pain will seem unbearable at times, please find comfort that there is a day coming when this earth will be filled with happy people and peace will be everywhere and Mrs. Bates will be there to enjoy it (Psalms 37:10,11,29). My sincere condolences to you.
